Our first booklet "Life With One Kidney" published in 1984 received tremendous welcome and it has served the purpose.

We are glad to publish this second booklet "Life With Kidney Failure" (Chronic-Acute) for the kidney failure patients.

Most of the kidney specialists (Neprologists & Urologists) are so busy caring for seriously ill that they frequently do not have time to answer all the question of the kidney patient or their family members wish to ask. Further more there is a general reluctance on the part of the most people to make too many inquires for fear that they will impose upon their doctors valuable time. This situation is often aggravated by the desire of the patients to obtain additional data about their illness long after they have they left doctors consulting room. The main purpose of this small booklet is to enlighten the kidney failure patients some general information about "their sickness".

Our Trust is very fortunate to have Dr. Bhupendra V Gandhi, one of very prominent Nephrologist of our country as one of the Trustee. The booklet published by Trust is due to his direction and our Trust is very grateful to him.

Our Trust is very grateful to Honorable SHRI SUNIL DUTT, Member of Parliament (Lok Sabha) and very dynamic social worker for city of Bombay for giving a nice 'Foreword' to this booklet.

AND Finally with my experience as a kidney transplant patient, I shall put the following percentage to come out of this deadly sickness.
