IMPORTANT ORGANS AND VARIOUS SYSTEMS OF BODY : The BRAIN, HEART, LUNGS, LIVER AND KIDNEYS are five vital organs of our Body. Each vital organ plays important role in their respective systems of our body . BRAIN plays important role in CENTRAL NERVOUS SYSTEM. Responsible for consciousness, pain, feeling, coordination, etc. HEART plays important role in CARDIOVASCULAR SYSTEM. Responsible for maintenance of life. LUNGS play important role in RESPIRATORY SYSTEM. Responsible for supply of oxygen. LIVER plays important role in DIGESTIVE SYSTEM. Responsible for metabolism.
KIDNEYS play important role in URINARY SYSTEM. Responsible for removal of liquid waste products.
Five Vital Organs Of Our Body URINARY SYSTEM, FUNCTIONS OF URINARY SYSTEM : The KIDNEYS, BLADDER, URETERS and URETHRA makes the entire URINARY SYSTEM. The MAIN FUNTION of urinary system is removal of LIQUID WASTE PRODUCTS from the body . This is done to certain extent by skin also. Kidney also removes excess water from our body and maintain normal salt, water balances. All the physical and chemical process that go in our bodies to keep us alive and active-involve the regular intake of essentials such as food-liquid and air we breathe the regular discharge of solid and liquid waste produced in the body. Most of LIQUID WASTE is processed through URINARY SYSTEM.
The job of kidneys is to filter the blood and excrete in the form of urine (water plus poisons). About 1200 ml. (20% of total blood volume) of blood flows through the kidneys each minute and the entire blood stream is filtered and purified in about five minutes. The waste product urine is produced at the rate of about one millilitre per minute. The urine is removed from the kidney by the URETERS (two twin tubes) and store in the BLADDER and discharge urine through URETHRA (at intervals).
